Humanizing a text starts with clearer communication
People often use “humanizing” to describe writing that feels less mechanical: more direct sentences, precise words and a tone that fits the situation. The same work can improve a text written entirely by hand.
A rewrite offers a possible way to express your ideas. It cannot invent your experience, decide what is true or guarantee your personal style. Add your own real examples, remove phrases that do not sound like you and keep the final say.
From your draft to a version ready for review
Start with a text you understand
Paste 10–2,000 words, up to 20,000 characters. Identify the names, numbers, quotations and conditions that must stay accurate.
Review access and run
Check the input length and your allowance in the editor, then confirm the request. A successful humanization uses its submitted word count.
Compare before copying
Read the original and the proposal side by side. Check the facts, restore useful nuances and copy the version you have approved to keep it.
Worked example: keep a promise conditional
- Meaning: the delivery is still expected, not guaranteed.
- Details: Thursday, Tuesday and the need for feedback remain.
- Tone: the request is more direct without adding facts.
Before
We would like to inform you that we anticipate being able to send the revised proposal on Thursday, subject to receiving your feedback by Tuesday.
After
We expect to send the revised proposal on Thursday if we receive your feedback by Tuesday.
This is a deliberately edited example, not a recorded AI output. The shorter version retains the expected date and the condition; it does not turn an estimate into a promise.
Keep what makes your writing valuable
- Facts: proper names, prices, percentages, dates and units must keep their exact meaning.
- Nuance: “may,” “subject to” and “in some cases” are meaningful qualifications.
- Sources: keep attribution and verify links. Rewording does not replace a reference.
- Your voice: add examples you know and choose vocabulary your audience understands.
Your questions
Before you get started.
Does rewriting always preserve the meaning?
That is the goal, but a proposal can leave out a nuance or change a fact. Always compare both versions, especially numbers, quotations and commitments.
Can I rewrite an email or a web page?
Yes, within the length limits of the tool. Choose a tone for your reader: professional for a business proposal, simple for an explanation or natural for a more direct conversation.
Will humanizing a text improve its Google ranking?
No rewrite guarantees a higher ranking. Focus first on usefulness, accuracy and original value, then accessibility. Using AI does not, by itself, imply an automatic penalty.
Can I find my rewrites later?
Yes. Completed rewrites are saved privately in History. You can resume unfinished requests from the workspace. Humanization uses external AI processing services, described in the workspace privacy information. Review the meaning, facts and references before accepting a revision.
