Project update
Good writing starts with a useful idea. The next step is finding the words that make it clear.
We would like to take this opportunity to let you know that your project is ready.
A FRESH PERSPECTIVE
Your project is ready.
Let’s bring it to life.
Review your words. Keep your voice.
LESS COPYING. MORE WRITING.
Keep the context of your page and bring only the passage you want to work on.
Select text on an ordinary web page, then open Check AI from the right-click menu. You can also paste text directly into the extension.
Review an AI detection signal alongside its limitations. A result supports your review; it cannot prove who wrote a passage.
Humanize your passage, review the result, then copy it or replace your selection in a supported text field. You decide what to keep.
READY IN A FEW STEPS
The beta uses Chrome’s “Load unpacked” option. Install it once, then pin Check AI beside your address bar.
Download beta ZIPDownload the ZIP, then extract it into a folder you can keep on your computer.
Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked. Select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
Pin Check AI from Chrome’s extensions menu. Open it, choose Connect account, sign in on Check AI and approve the connection.
Select text, right-click and choose Check AI, or paste into its panel. Review the word count and tool availability before you run it.
The extension processes the text you choose. It does not run AI checks as you browse. Submitting a request sends your chosen text to external AI processing services and uses your account allowance. Provider details are available in the extension privacy information.
Explore plans and word packsYou can select text on ordinary web pages and replace selections in supported textareas, text inputs and standard contenteditable fields. Some editors handle text differently: Google Docs, canvas-based editors, embedded frames and protected Chrome pages are not supported in this beta. Copy and paste is available as a fallback.
No separate extension subscription is needed. AI requests use your Check AI detection or rewriting word allowance. If you need more words, eligible paid accounts can add a credit pack from My account. Service availability is shown before processing.
The extension keeps a temporary account session in Chrome’s session storage. Reconnect when it expires or after restarting Chrome. You can disconnect from the extension at any time.
This is a downloadable beta with manual installation. There is no Chrome Web Store listing yet. To update, download the latest ZIP, replace the extracted files and choose Reload for Check AI on Chrome’s extensions page.
